[ The federation ]

We don't manufacture founders. We create the conditions.

Genius is a French non-profit that brings 20 student associations together around a shared standard: bylaws, tools, funding, one network.

[ Our mission ]

Unlocking every student's potential to build

Starting something while you study shouldn't depend on which school let you in. Yet it still does: the money, the mentors and the networks stay concentrated on a handful of campuses.

Genius exists to correct that. Each chapter stays independent and rooted in its campus while trading with the rest of the network. The federation brings it a treasury, national partnerships and a network with more than 13 years behind it.

Since 2025 we have been folding in new fields of innovation — web3, AI — to stay current. Going international follows in 2027.

[ Our history ]

Fourteen years, twenty campuses.

  1. 2013

    Two founding chapters

Born of a lack of entrepreneurial resources in schools, Genius started at Dauphine and CentraleSupélec to give students the mentoring they were missing.

  2. 2015

    The playbook

A framework anyone can reuse: bylaws, a model budget, an events calendar, a brand kit.

  3. 2018

    Scaling up

25 chapters, national partnerships and a growing network

  4. 2026

    Innovation

Adapting as new challenges arrive: web3, AI, hackathons for good.

  5. 2027

    Genius on-chain

A global rebrand, and the move abroad.

[ Our values ]

Four rules, not one more.

Autonomy

Each association stays independent in how it runs itself

Community

A family of student founders held together by the same drive.

Sharing

Good practice, tools, contacts: everything circulates freely

Support

Training and backing to help each structure grow

[ Board ]

A board elected each year by the chapters.

Elected each year by the chapters, the board brings together members from across the network. As the federation's operational engine, it coordinates shared projects, runs the network, secures partnerships and represents Genius outside, so that every chapter has what it needs to grow.

[ Council ]

A council of former members

The board changes every year; the federation doesn't. A council of former presidents, elected for three years, supports the terms that follow — validating structural decisions and keeping continuity from one mandate to the next.
